Drake has added another milestone to an already record-heavy career, becoming the first artist in Billboard history to simultaneously occupy the top three positions on the Billboard 200 chart following the release of his surprise album trilogy Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.

The chart feat marks a historic first in the ranking’s history, underscoring Drake’s continued dominance in the streaming era and the extraordinary scale of his latest release strategy. Leading the sweep is Iceman, which debuts at Number One with 463,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Billboard. Of that total, 449,000 came from streaming equivalent albums, fueled by 462.2 million on-demand streams in the United States.

The performance gives Drake his 15th Number One album on the Billboard 200, tying Taylor Swift for the most chart-topping albums by any solo artist in the chart’s history. Only The Beatles remain ahead overall, with 19 Number One albums.

The opening week also outpaces Drake’s previous studio release, For All the Dogs, which launched at Number One in 2023 with 402,000 equivalent album units. While Drake has repeatedly posted major first-week numbers throughout his career, the scale of this latest chart takeover reflects both the volume of the release and the advantages of modern streaming consumption, where surprise drops and high-output release strategies can rapidly dominate listener attention.

The other two titles in the trilogy also posted strong debuts. Habibti enters the chart at Number Two with 114,000 equivalent album units, narrowly ahead of Maid of Honour, which opens at Number Three with 110,000 units. All three projects were released as digital and streaming-only titles, with no physical editions currently available, making the chart performance even more directly tied to listener demand across streaming platforms.

Within 24 hours of the albums dropping, both Spotify and Amazon Music reported that Drake had become their most-streamed artist in a single day in 2026, driven by the combined impact of the three simultaneous releases. That level of platform dominance reinforces Drake’s position as one of the defining streaming-era artists, more than a decade after first establishing himself as a commercial force.

The achievement also extends Drake’s lead in another major category. With three additional top 10 entries, he now surpasses Future as the rapper with the most top 10 albums in Billboard 200 history.

The success of Iceman carries additional weight because of the album’s content. Positioned as Drake’s first solo studio album since the highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar, the project arrives with unusually intense public scrutiny around both its commercial performance and its creative response to one of hip-hop’s most visible rivalries in recent years. That context likely contributed to the intense first-week interest, though Drake’s numbers suggest the demand extended well beyond curiosity.
