Ariana Grande is expanding her long-running philanthropic work with the launch of the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, a new charitable initiative focused on mental health services, LGBTQ+ advocacy, arts education, and emergency community support.

The singer announced the foundation this week, describing it as a way to broaden the charitable efforts she has personally supported for years while creating new opportunities to provide resources to vulnerable communities. The organization will operate through four separate funds, each dedicated to a specific area of advocacy and support, while partnering with established nonprofit organizations already working on the front lines of those causes.

Among the groups involved are Lambda Legal, the LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, and Trans Lifeline, a peer-support and crisis resource network for transgender individuals. Additional nonprofit partners are expected to participate as the foundation expands its reach.

The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation is structured around four primary initiatives. The Protect & Defend Fund will focus on LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights protections, and reproductive justice advocacy. The Heal & Dream Fund is designed to increase access to mental health services and strengthen community support programs. The Seen & Celebrated Fund will support projects that elevate LGBTQ+ voices and stories, while the Emergency Support Fund will provide assistance to communities facing urgent crises and unexpected hardships.

In a statement announcing the launch, Grande said the foundation reflects causes she has long considered deeply important and expressed excitement about being able to support them on a larger scale. “I am beyond excited to finally announce the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation,” Grande said. “Our mission is to support, protect, and provide resources for our vulnerable friends in need.”

The singer added that many of the organizations involved are already doing critical work in their communities and that the foundation’s goal is to help amplify those efforts.

“Through four different funds, we will be supporting handfuls of incredible organizations that provide the safe space and care that is desperately needed by so many right now,” Grande said. “It has been my privilege to be able to support these causes on my own over the years, and I’m grateful to now be able to expand that reach and amplify the life-saving work that these organizations do through the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation.”

The announcement formalizes Grande’s charitable work at a time when she remains one of pop music’s most influential figures. Throughout her career, the singer has frequently used her platform to advocate for mental health awareness, LGBTQ+ equality, and disaster relief efforts. Following the 2017 Manchester Arena attack, she organized the historic One Love Manchester benefit concert, which raised millions for victims and their families while becoming one of the most significant charity events in modern music history.

In the years since, Grande has continued to support a wide range of nonprofit organizations and social causes, often making donations privately while encouraging fans to become involved in community initiatives. The new foundation represents the most structured and comprehensive philanthropic effort of her career to date.

The organization’s name is also closely tied to Grande’s recent musical era. Brighter Days Ahead takes its title from the deluxe edition of her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine. Released alongside a companion short film, Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead explored themes of healing, resilience, and personal growth, ideas that appear to align closely with the mission of the newly announced foundation.

The launch comes as Grande remains focused on both her music and philanthropic endeavors. She is currently touring in support of Eternal Sunshine and is preparing to begin a series of performances at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. While the tour continues to draw attention to her latest music, the creation of the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation signals a broader effort to channel her influence beyond the stage.
