The Pussycat Dolls have canceled nearly all of the North American dates on their planned reunion tour, scaling back what was intended to be their first major run together in more than a decade.
The group, currently composed of Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts, announced the decision in a statement to fans on Monday, citing the need to reassess the U.S. leg of the tour. While the group did not provide detailed reasoning in their official message, the move follows reports that ticket sales for several North American shows had underperformed.
In a direct message addressed to fans, the group wrote:
“Dolls,
We want to share an important update with you.
When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.
@officiallyoutloud at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles is still happening on June 6, 2026, and we could not think of a more meaningful place to celebrate with our fans. The LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career, and we’re honored to be part of a weekend rooted in joy, pride, music, and chosen family.
Our UK and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out. We are putting everything into making this show a true celebration of the music and the memories, for the fans who have been with us from the beginning and those discovering us for the first time. We’re working hard to create the kind of show we’ve always dreamed of bringing to you. We cannot wait to bring this reunion to Europe and make these nights unforgettable.”
The only U.S. appearance that will go ahead as scheduled is a June 6 performance at West Hollywood Pride in Los Angeles. In their statement, the group emphasized the significance of that event, pointing to their longstanding connection with LGBTQ+ audiences and framing the show as a celebration of that relationship.
The tour, branded as the “PCD Forever Tour,” had been positioned as a major comeback moment for the group, marking roughly two decades since their debut album and their first sustained run of performances since disbanding in the late 2000s. Initial plans for a reunion stretch back to 2020, when the group announced a comeback tour that was ultimately derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent contractual disputes.
The latest iteration of the tour was intended to revive that effort, capitalizing on nostalgia for early-2000s pop acts and the group’s catalog of hits. However, the North American leg appears to have struggled to generate the level of demand required for a full arena run, according to industry reports and online reaction from fans.
In contrast, the group indicated that international demand remains strong. Several dates across the United Kingdom and Europe have already sold out, and those shows are expected to proceed without changes. The group described the overseas response as “incredible,” suggesting a more favorable reception in markets where the band has historically maintained a strong fan base.
The cancellation places The Pussycat Dolls among a growing list of major artists who have recently adjusted or scaled back touring plans. Zayn Malik and Meghan Trainor have both canceled tour dates in recent months, while Post Malone reduced the scope of his latest tour to focus on completing new music.
