Taylor Swift has quietly continued her long-standing commitment to charitable giving into 2026, this time supporting The Store, a nonprofit organization co-founded by Brad Paisley and actor Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The organization confirmed this week that Swift made a donation as part of her year-end philanthropy, though the amount was not disclosed.
In a statement shared on Facebook, The Store thanked Swift for her contribution, emphasizing the impact it will have on the organization’s ongoing work in Middle Tennessee. “We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for including The Store in her year-end giving,” the nonprofit wrote. “Her generous gift helps us continue providing groceries with dignity and choice to families across Middle Tennessee, especially as we prepare to open our second location.”
Williams-Paisley also acknowledged the donation publicly, thanking Swift in an Instagram Stories post and highlighting the importance of continued support as the organization expands its reach.
Founded in 2020, The Store was created to address food insecurity in the Nashville area through a model that differs from traditional food pantries. Rather than distributing pre-packed boxes, the nonprofit operates as a free-referral grocery store, allowing individuals and families to select their own food. The approach is designed to preserve dignity and autonomy, while also reducing stigma often associated with food assistance programs.
According to the organization’s mission statement, The Store aims to provide not only immediate access to groceries, but also long-term support through education, job training resources, and partnerships with social services. Since opening its first location, the nonprofit has served thousands of families across Middle Tennessee, and plans for a second location have been underway as demand continues to grow.
While Swift’s donation amount was not revealed, her contribution aligns with a broader pattern of philanthropy that has marked her career, particularly in recent years. In December, Swift donated $1 million to Feeding America, which supports a nationwide network of food banks, pantries, and meal programs. Around the same time, MusiCares announced that Swift had made a significant donation to help fund financial assistance and mental health resources for members of the music community in need.
Other organizations also confirmed receiving support from Swift toward the end of 2025, including Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville and Operation Breakthrough, a Kansas City-based nonprofit focused on education and childcare for underserved families. Operation Breakthrough publicly thanked Swift for her contribution, noting that her support helps fund programming for more than 750 students.
Swift’s charitable efforts are not limited to year-end donations. During her Eras Tour, she made contributions to local food banks in multiple cities where she performed, often coordinating donations around tour stops. In March 2020, she donated $1 million to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund following deadly tornadoes that struck the region. More recently, she contributed $100,000 to a GoFundMe supporting the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who was killed during a mass shooting at a Kansas City Chiefs victory parade.
Despite the scale of her philanthropy, Swift rarely announces donations herself. Instead, contributions are typically disclosed by recipient organizations, often after funds have already been distributed. This approach has become characteristic of her public-facing generosity, focusing attention on the causes rather than the donor.
