Ariana Grande informed fans this week that three stops on her Eternal Sunshine tour will no longer take place as originally scheduled, attributing the shakeup to unspecified production issues that emerged behind the scenes. The singer broke the news directly to her audience through Instagram Stories, framing the decision as a necessary one rather than a routine scheduling hiccup.

In her message, Grande apologized to fans for the disruption, acknowledging that the changes were far from ideal but insisting they represented the most responsible path forward given the circumstances. She explained that production-related complications had come to light, and that adjusting the calendar was the safest way to handle them rather than pushing ahead with shows that might not run as planned.

The specific changes affect two East Coast markets. New York fans who had tickets for the July 12 show at Brooklyn's Barclays Center will now see Grande perform there on July 14 instead. Boston audiences face a similar shuffle, with the TD Garden dates originally set for July 22 and July 24 shifting to July 23 and July 26. Organizers confirmed that previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new dates, and that anyone holding them can expect to receive further details and instructions directly.

Grande was careful to frame the rescheduling around two priorities: keeping everyone involved safe and preserving the integrity of the show itself. She stressed that ensuring fans experience the concert the way it was designed to be performed mattered just as much as the safety considerations driving the schedule change. She closed her message with gratitude, thanking fans for their patience and expressing genuine excitement about reconnecting with them once the tour resumes.

The disruption comes at an otherwise high point for Grande's live career. The Eternal Sunshine tour launched earlier this month in Oakland, marking her first run of headlining concerts since 2019 and serving as the centerpiece of her promotional push for her seventh studio album, which shares its name with the tour. Reviews and fan reaction since the opening night have largely framed the run as a triumphant comeback. The setlist leans heavily on material from the new record but also weaves in fan favorites spanning her catalog, including a handful of tracks from Positions and pairs of songs from Dangerous Woman, My Everything, and thank u, next.

Notably, this tour may represent a rare opportunity for fans, according to Grande's own comments from late last year. Speaking on Amy Poehler's podcast Good Hang in November 2025, Grande suggested that large-scale touring may not be part of her near-term future once this run concludes. She indicated that the pace and structure of her career over the next decade or so would likely look markedly different from the touring-heavy years that preceded it. While she stopped short of ruling anything out permanently, she made clear that she views this current run as something special, telling Poehler she was thrilled to be doing it but didn't expect to mount another tour of this scale again anytime soon.

Ticket holders are expected to receive updated information in the coming days as the new dates approach, and the tour is set to continue as planned in the meantime, with no other stops currently affected by the changes.
